Windshield polishing ?
Has anyone had any luck using the various glass polishing kits out there to remove wiper streaks and light scratches from their windshields?
Is so, what products did you use and any tips ?

We offer two Professional Glass Polishing Systems developed by Lake Country Mfg. Both of these kits require the use of a machine polisher (not included in the kit).
These kits will have:
4 oz. Glass Polish
Two (2) Glass Polishing Discs
Rain-X Final Sealant
Sealant Foam Applicator
Hook-and-Loop Backing Plate
Make sure you select for Porter Cable 7424 or rotary polisher.
Which type of machine used makes a huge difference it the results that can be obtained. if your glass has some light scratching, the circular polisher kit, may be able to greatly reduce, or even remove those scratches for you.
Deeply etched scratches may need to be dealt with by contacting a professional glass polisher.

If you do a search you will see our DP Glass Restorer was successful in removing water spots, wiper marks and prepping glass for protectants. Bugman did a great writeup some time ago and showed how easy it is to use by hand and/or machine. I think you will find a dedicated glass cleaner and polish is a product worth having and DP's product will have you seeing clear soon enough.
