Default Master Blaster Sidekick Unit..Thoughts?

I already have a shop vac I use for vacuuming so, all I really need is the blower. This item looks to be perfect fit and less than the others...so, it fits my bill. Anyone use? Thoughts?

Thanks!

We had many happy clients using it , and its a real hit amongst the motorcycle crowd. If my leaf blower died I'd probably try and take one home for use personally.

I have the leaf blower too...but, this seems to be so much easier to use..I seem to come close to the car when blowing it off with the leaf blower. Just got it so, the first few times with my other car..I was not careful enough..I guess.

Okay...added to the LONG list of things i need. LOL!

Its not as powerful as my leaf blower, but certainly smaller and much less bulky. I would not ever think to travel with a leaf blower, but could tuck this in. It really fits a different billing and both can be best friends

Hmm....okay...

I actually did travel with a leaf blower..one time but, it is kind of bulky. Not to big just akward....and the other car has a much bigger trunk so, size would be a concern in the vette.

You're just looking to spend money aren't you? I looked at it too, but I'm perfectly happy with my electric leaf blower

Actually I would like not to but, my biggest issue is I want to dry the car AT the pay washer place. I am in apartment with no hose hook up...at least for now. So..I wanted this small one to take to the pay wash..bay. I'll wash the car and then plug this into an inverter into the cig lighter and blow dry the car there without having to touch it. I worry about drying with the MF Waffleweave. I have them..and the Dodo Juice time to dry and it works okay...just less touching the better til I QD and start teh detail procedure.

Living in apartment doing this sucks! I'll eventually get a house but, not til maybe next year...summer. Then..the garage there..will be da $hit...in fact...I might never leave it..once I get that modified..LOL!

Wow, didn't realize you lived in an apartment. I guess the master blaster may be a good option as it takes up less space than a leaf blower.

When I was growing up I too lived in apartments and still washed my cars by running a hose out of the basement laundry room. The other option you have is using ONR which is an awesome product for rinseless car washing....I would stay away from the pay washes.

Pay wash meaning the power washer...not the drive through. I usually take my two buckets in there and wash. As long as I go when there is no traffic they don't mind. I have done this with several cars with no issue.

Yeah they have garages which is great but, no f----ing hose. The last one had hose no garage. Trying to get into a house....just economy, location, etc...playing havoc with me being able too.

I gotta seriously suggest you try Optimums No Rinse or Ultima Rinseless Wash, your gonna be much more pleased and wont even really need a blower. Take the leap of faith, these products revolutionize washing in restricted areas and a must-have for apartment life.

I believe I have the ONR here already. I'll they it some time on my DD to see how it works.

Um...any detail classes in this general area I could attend for a good learning of ONR, polishing, etc.?

It's not that I don't know...I just really don't want to hurt my new baby!

Are you joking? I ordered one from amazon and sent it back the same day, good for little more then dusting and getting some of the water out of the tail lights.

No classes that I am aware of, but you can track thru our forum with Mike Phillips.

The rinseless washes are quite easy. You need one (or two) buckets. You mix in with clear water in one bucket and use a thick soft towel with some knap. I prefer to rinse towel in clean water and then back in bucket with ONR. I keep a Grit Gard in both but thats personal preference. Its quite lubricated and really easy to use. Just wipe in straight lines and clean out towel often.

Straight lines as in top to bottom on side of car and front to back on top of car?

I'll check the forums on the class thing....forgot about tap hat. Thanks!
