Default Scuff mark removal

Ok so the darned garage door came down on the back bumper of the C5 and left a line of scuff marks. I had some of that color match wax on hand so I tried that and it helped cover the white streaks left by the scrape but if you are 2ft or closer you can still easily see the scrapes. How do I handle fixing this? Should I call the insurance company and then let a body shop take over? Would the "magical" Zanio fix this?

I would try some 3M Scratch and Swirl Remover on the area first, that sould take out the mark depending on the damage.

Some guy wrote and told me that if you can feel the scuff/scratch with a fingernail that 3M SMR wont do the trick. In my case there are a few spots were it is that bad. So do I try dobbing on some clearcoat or wet sand it then use 3M SWM followed by Z5 ?
