Seat problems....please help
I purchased some '87 Corvette seats for my truck and I love them but I have a few problems. The seats are in good condition, but the preforations have little white things in them....i'm not sure if its something the leather does or some leftover conditioning/cleaning agent. If this is something common, could someone let me know how to get them out, other than getting a pin and a magnifying glass and scraping each hole out. A new problem is that today I went out to find a tear about an inch long in the passenger's seat (which was in near-perfect condition)! I am going to have to fix this and I was wondering what kind of leather repair products you guys have used and which ones work the best. Those are my two biggest problems....aside from that i've been thinking about dying the seats torch red or black with the middle being red. Have any of you guys used the dye's avalable for this kind of thing? They're graphite now and i'm not sure how easily that will go to red. I know there must be some people here who have refinished a pair of these seats....so if you have please help me out. Thanks a lot....any help is appreciated. Have fun,

Toothbrush and leather cleaner, followed by leather conditioner...For the leather cut in the seat try...http://www.leatherique.com

Hey, thanks for the reply. So i'm guessing the white spots are a common thing? The leatherique stuff looks like its a pretty good deal and they have dyes as well. I'm still really wondering how well they dying process works. I saw the pics they have, but i'd still like to know if anyone has info on something they've done. Thanks again,
