Default Question.....

Hi all,
I've got a 2001 black C5. I've been using Mother's products, but after reading all the about Zaino, am curious. Will I really see a difference?

This is what I believe is the process I need to use on my car for Zaino.
1) Dawn
2) Z1
3) Z5
4) Z6

Your comments/experiences appreciated.

Thanks

You will love the difference you get fron Zaino, especially not having all of the chalky dust that Mother's stuff leaves behind. You might want to look at some Z2 as a top coat over the Z5. Many people with black cars like to use this as their top coat because it brings out some more depth and gloss after the Z5 fills the minor marks.

.....and I highly recommend the Z18 Clay Bar as a second step after the Dawn wash. Even if you picked up your car yesterday from the NCM, clay WILL make a difference.

Owning and maintaining a black 'vette is a special challenge, but it has it's own special rewards when done well. Enjoy.

Zaino met my criteria:

Incredible shine
The shine lasted SIX months
Ease of application
NO white residue.

And I would definitely add the Z-18 clay bar, as suggested.

Some of my customers that have black use just the Z-5 because they can't tell the difference in shine between the Z-5 and Z-2. It's subjective.

And the Z-7 car wash has a bit of Z-2 in it. I use the Z-7 as a lube for the clay bar. And actually, you get two clay bars for the $16.95.

I agree, use a clay bar after the Dawn. I also like not having the white stuff in the cracks and crevaces. :D

Been using the stuff for a year now on my 91 and the jeep....It is the best I have found after trying the Irish and Mommy stuff. All the above posts are the reasons I continue to use it plus you don't have to worry about getting it on vinyl or rubber as it is recommended on those surfaces and will not leave a residue. TRY IT!!
