Hi All and happy 4th,
I have an 08 C6 w/ polished aluminum Gumbys. When I cleaned the wheel last week I started to notice light scratches on the finish of the wheels. If i remember right I was told there is a clear coating on them. Is there any way I can remove these light scratches w/o removing the clear coat?

I used my Flex 3401 on mine with a white pad and some Megs 205. Followed that up with Swissvax wheel wax. Looked awesome.
You have to remove a little clearcoat (and very little at that) to remove some of the fine scratches.
