Default Menzerna Question

About a year ago, I corrected the paint to about 98% defect free which I am very happy with. I would like to purchase either one of these Menzerna final polishes which I presently do not have:

1) PO85RD Cut=1 gloss=5
2) PO106FA (Nano Polish) Cut=2.5 Gloss=5

The above cut/gloss combo is what is listed on Autogeek's website. Since I am pretty much happy with the finish and I feel I don't need any real correcting properties, I am leaning towards the PO085D. Both have great customer reviews on the Autogeek website, but I'd like to hear opinions from the experts on this forum based on any experiences good or bad with either of the above polishes. Any advice will be greatly appeciated.

po85rd is a finishing polish only and best used for final finishing and jeweling paint to add gloss and reflection on well corrected paint already. Nano (106FF , 106FA) has a little bit more polishing ability but a light polish because it diminishes over its use. It finishes down so well most suggest no need to have both polishes. These are both part of the ceramiclear polish line and work really well on harder clearcoats, SIP, being the most abrasive of the three.

Thanks Killrwheels but you didn't answer my question. If I'm happy with the condition of my paint and it needs no further correction which one of these 2 should I buy?

My personal opinion is that PO85rd is a much better overall polish than 205. It really is one of the top final polishes for gloss and clarity, IMO.

I have never used 205, but reading the product description of 205 on the Autogeek website, leads me to believe that 205 has a little more cutting ability than 085rd

205 does have a bit more cut initially but doesnt "seem" to finish down quite as well as 085rd. Infact some use 085rd for jeweling paint after using 105/205 as a combo. No wrong choice ....

My order of 085rd just arrived yesterday. I was in the same situation, just looking for something to use for final jeweling as the paint has already been corrected pretty good.

Now I'm looking for some time to put it to use!

Yep. Coupled with the fact that it's well over 100 here every day, I just don't have the energy to spend a whole day in the garage.... But I'll get it out soon and see how it works.

I currently have 2 gold Lake Country CCS jeweling pads that I am planning to use with 085rd since my paint does not need any correction. Would there be any benefit in also using either a black or blue one?
