Default Decision made.........

After weeks of reading, researching, and asking advice, I have made my decision. As some you have seen a few posts from me on Blackfire, Meguiar’s and Z-CS, I am doing with this:

I am still going to use Zaino's. I ordered the Z-CS and additional bottle of Z-5. I have Three bottles of cut Z-6 so I did not need to order that.

After reading Zaino homepage on the Z-CS and comments here, I think I will use the Z-CS in lieu of the use of Z-2. I know Z-2 has its own purposes, but from reading all that I have, I believe it will serve well as a replacement to Z-2. As with all of Zaino products, they do complement each other regardless as to how they interact with other Z products.

So, here will be my plan. I have always put a coat of Z-5 once a month and then I usually followed by a coat of Z-2 two weeks later. I will continue to follow this, but use the Z-CS as my replacement of Z-2. I do use Z-6 all the time, so I do not need to change how and when I spray Z-6 on my vehicle. We shall see out it turns out. I am having high hopes that I will be going to the next level.

I do have some Z-8, but to me, I get a greater shine from using the Z-6. I will give it a try here and there just to experiment and see, but I just can't beat the use of Z-6.

Your plan/decision sounds good to me I agree that the Z8 is great stuff as a finish after a coat of ZCS. It really makes the shine pop and the paint more "slippery." Z6 is excellent as a quick detailer.

I like the Zaino products. I've been using them for years with no complaints. I don't think you need to use it that frequently unless you just enjoy doing it, which is fine.

Myself personally, I cannot tell the difference between Z6 and Z8. They both smell the same and seem to work the same. I just use the Z6 now since it is half the price of the Z8.

I think the same of Z2 and Z5. I cannot tell the difference between the two products. But I will agree it's all good stuff.

According to zaino z5 should work better for darker colors and z2 for lighter colors. I've been using z5 for a while since when I got a couple bottles and zfx I had all darker colored cars. Now I have red, white and blue cars and it still works great on them. When I run out of z5 I'll add some z2 to my arsenal.
