Yes. I have a couple of cans as well. I took a while for the first one to come in the mail so I ordered another can. I think they are overated and cheap.

Used the turquoise Zymol liquid before, made the paint look like glass. If you keep it awhile it'll seperate and all the shaking you can muster won't mix it back to the original consistency.

always used Maguires, Wolfgang, etc, but zymol's spoken of highly in the non-mega-picky circles of friends i have.

never heard of an $8000 refillable offer..never heard of a refillable offer from anybody really.

Used the liquid version as well. It works great and stays on the vehicle for a long time.

Nope not heard of the specific wax. I've used Zymol Concours Glaze Wax before. Overrated in my opinion.
I'm Griots, Wolfgang and Sonax kinda guy now.

Yesterday I was reading a Consumer Reprt Magazine in the waiting room of the Dr. office. They had rated auto products regarding providing shine and longevity. To get to the point they recommended NU FINISH. This is the stuff in the orange bottle that many of us used in the 60's. I used it often back then on my camaro but moved on to the more popular brands. The Report shows it was tested against most of the name brands I recognized including several mentioned in the above posts.

actually checked consumerreports after you said this, and Meguires NXT is rated higher than Nu Finish, although not dramatically, and the price per oz is 206% that of the Meguires NXT. Other Meguires products and other names came in much lower. Zymol is at the bottom with Turtle Wax.

these are all *consumer* grade products though. if you step this up to the professional grade stuff, where cut, glaze, buff, etc all come into play, its different. even then there's good Meguires products too though. for an all in one and a maintainer, I do use NXT and it does work great.

edit: oh hey there's a "paste wax" section at the bottom of the same page, and that one does put Nu Finish NFP-80 in first place. meguires won the liquid/gel wax.

Nufinish used to do a good job, but I question it's longevity.

At over $8400 it would be a Royal something alright,,,something that involves bending over and a jar of vaseline!! At that price it would have to be one hell of a wax,,and be applied by a bevy of topless DD models once a week for life!!!
