We carry pretty much every product offered here. From Finishkare, Griots, to Duragloss and ONR. Use couponcode CORVETTEFORUM to save some $$ on it.

I get a lot of dust on my black vette during the spring. Will either one of the products be a good touch up without scratching the clear coat? It just scares me wiping the dust with anything before rinsing. Thoughts?

If it is just garage dust from sitting in there for a few days after being put away freshly washed I use a California Duster very lightly to remove the dust and then use the QD with a MF.
If it is dusty or dirty from driving I wash the car and use the QD with a MF to do the very last of the drying and make it pop a little more.
I know that many do use the QD straight over a dusty car without problems, but I would rather not.

It's a fairly recent addition to Advance Auto. Both of their stores near me carry Griot's products. Maybe where I am is a test market for it or not all stores have picked it up yet.

Thanks for the help guys. I had searched "Griot's" (which is correct) and got no hits. They list it as "Griots". Looks like there's actually some near me, at a different store.

I only use and love C-Magic products on my C5!
For my other cars I love Duragloss products, their detail spray is excellent!
Inexpensive and seems to last equally as well ast the more expensive ones

What are the factors you want in a detail spray, how are you going to use it, and how much you want to spend.
In all my experience with QD and Detail sprays I seem to still reach for Finish Kare 425 for these reasons.
Anti Static properties......... you will have less dust build up
Boosts the properties of the wax or sealant on the car
A little goes a LONG ways
The most underated detail spray, likey because most dont know about it, or are stuck in a rut to try something new.
Just buy it directly from Finish Kare in so. calif Leda will help you.
Cheers,
GREG

I have used Griot's Speed Shine and prefer Adams Detailer. Started using Adams on my 03 Sprial Gray and it really popped. Now use it on my 11 Yellow GS. Also use other Adams products.

Chemical Guys V7 is getting some heavy referrals with ease of use, and lots of gloss. Might be another newer option.
