I am probably the forums most irritating lemon pledge proponent.
It is GREAT on wheels, tires, leather, plastic, lubricating door hinges without making a mess, dash, etc. But I don't like it on paint. Prefer Mcguires or Turtle instant detailers.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from it all together and especially on wheels, vinyl and plastic trim etc. Buy products that are designed to do the job!
Do yourself a favor and use it liberally, especially on wheels, vinyl and plastic trim etc. Buy products that are designed to do the job, like Lemon PLedge has proved for 5 decades.
Pledge was NEVER designed for use in automotive settings, just recently they started to advertise it to increase market share and appear to stand out amongst other furniture polishes. Just like teflon, it really is a product best used for its original design (wood polish), and not in high UV settings and outside the home in harsher environments which see dirt/sand/wind/rain and more like an automobile.
Several years ago, when I had my 2000 C-5 black vette, there was a posting about this and it had many comments for and against it. I called and talked to Sal at Zaino's and he heard of this back in the day. I have been using Zaino's for a few years at that time and the only products available were the typical Z-1, Z2, Z5, nothing like the Z-CS of today products. So, I thought I would give it a try. I did not notice any different of a shine. I did notice it collect more road dust than I had before I used it. So, came the following weekend, I washed it off and never used it again. My suggestion, I would not recommend using it either.
