Help! just discovered waterspots on my new car!
what can you use to get rid of minor waterspots? I have heard white vinegar? Is it safe for the paint? How do you go about doing that? Is there anything else that works better? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Vinegar will work and it is very safe for the paint, but there are many things you should use first to see if you can remove them, the first of course is a hand car wash, if that does not work try some detailer spray, if that does not work try a clay bar, and if that does not work you can try the vinegar. Vinegar is totally safe but you will have to wash your car after its use as the vinegar leaves a funk on your paint.

What about nasty waterspots on the windshield? I had to use hard water last week and made the mistake of leaving the car in the sun too long. Is there a decent quick fix for this mistake?

This is the order to try products to remove water spots from glass:
1. Regular windex type cleaner
2. Clay Bar
3. white vinegar rubbed on with a cloth
4. and if all of that fails use the Zaino Z-12 Glass Polish, it will NOT!! fail

I use 50/50 mix of water and white vinager in a spray bottle......cuts down on the funk and smell. Works great! Wash the car after the vinager treatment.
