C5 Interior Cleaning
The exterior care topic has been exhaustively covered in this forum, but I'm looking for forum expertise on interior care - How do you clean interior surfaces, such as the dash, console lid, IP glass, doors, etc.? I've used Zaino leather treatment on the seats with great results, but I'm not sure how to treat the rest of the interior. Thanks for any suggestions.....
:seeya
I don't use much beyond a warm damp lint-free cloth on the interior surfaces. Zaino on the leather. I tried some 303 on one of the doors to see what it was like and it worked pretty well. I'll probably 303 the rest of the vinyl too. Regular vacuuming of the carpet. I use a 'swiffer' for light dusting (available at supermarkets).
Like Jerry, I really only clean the interior surfaces with a damp cloth (mid-grade microfiber) and distilled water. Follow behind that with a dry microfiber.
If you are looking for a dressing/UV protection for the dash, door panels, etc. 303 Aerospace Protectant does a nice job. The finish it leaves is low gloss/factory new.
A product that works well on the gauge cover plastic is Plexus. And SprayWay does a very nice job on glass. :yesnod:
