So i tried this techniques over the weekend to see if it really made a difference.
After cleaning my car real well, I applied a #7 coat of Polish from Meguairs, as I let it dry down for 15 minutes, I grab my spray bottle filled with water. I sprayed some mists over the area I was going to remove. WOW!! First I was amazed how much easier it came off, second the shine was more than what I usually get out of it. One of the guys who is a professional detailer on this forum mentioned this technique and passed it along. Really makes a big difference. Just as I stated a "Spit Shine".
I always finish up by using either 'Quik Detailer' or 'Final Inspection', which also seems to add something 'extra'... I wonder if doing the 'spit shine' on the last coat of #7 would add even more?!?!?
Oh yeah... I forgot... I always put a coat of wax on after polishing... 'then' the spray detailer... Have you tried the 'spit shine' process on the last coat of wax as well??
Before I used Zaino I did the same thing. The misting also helps collect the white residue that waxes leave behind so that you don't have white powder in every crevice of the car. I think it is a good practice to use an instant detailer after you polish or wax, regardless of which product line you use. After every washing or polishing I put some Zaino Z6 Gloss Enhancer on my car.

No I have not, that will be my next project. I think it will work the same. I do notice a big difference in my shine then from other times I just apply the #7 and just wipe it off.
