Default Microfiber Chenille Sponge?

A few years back I picked up a couple of these from somewhere. I can't remember where. They were blue, and shaped like the typical wash bone.
I really like them, and the last one I had is just about at the end of it's useful life.
I'm not a fan of wash mitts of any kind. I won't put them on my hand like a mitt, and the band is always in my way. They are uncomfortable for me to use. The bone shape is much more natural in my hand, and there is no band to worry about.

Does anyone know where I can buy any of these MF Chenille Sponges?
I saw them in Walmart the other day, but the quality didn't seem to be as good as what I had.

I've checked al the local places and all I could find was the flimsy one that Walmart has.
Couldn't find them on the geeks site. Have you gotten one from thenm recently? Can you possibly look back at your order and see if you have an item number?
Thanks!

The indigo's come to mind, they are dark blue. Most of these would be found under wax applicators but can be used for many projects also.

Checked again. Lots of MF Chenille Wash Mitts on the geek's site, but no MF Chenille bone type sponges.
I don't like the mitts because I don't put them on my hand, and the idea of that band gliding across the finish of my cars sends chills up and down my spine.

I thought it was a smaller sponge you were looking for, as for bone there is only one.

As for the mitts, I dont put mine over my hand. I actually use it like a sponge and you can tuck the end piece back up into them. Have you tried a sea sponge, many swear by them ....or perhaps the sheepkin pad.

I've tried that bone sponge and although I like it, I like the one I'm looking for a lot better.
I use the mitts the same way as you do, but I find it a pain to keep tucking that end piece up inside all the time and I'm constantly wary of it. Not sure why they insist on making them in mitt shapes. I don't know many who use them as such. Most use them the way you and I do for the same reasons.
I'll have to give the sea sponge a try with my next order. The one I placed with you the other day has shipped already.
I really like the long strands of MF Chenille because it makes me feel like if I was to pick up a bit of debris it would be lifted up in to the strands and away from the finish. The shape of the bone is comfortable.
I bit the bullet and went for the Walmart version last night. It is a cheap copy of the ones I had. Not as dense and shorter strands. I'll use it on the daily drivers until I can find the real thing, and save the well worn (but better quality) one for the Corvette and GTO.
