Default Emblems back on??

I used the trick of a hair dryer and a short period of time to remove all the emblems on my Z for the clear bra install. Thank you.

New question: What is the best way to 'reload' the emblems with the adhesive tape to put them back on? I see it was cut to the shape of the emblems. Does the material come in wide strips I can lay the emblems on and then trace around with an Xacto knife or such?

You can buy adhesive 3M tape at most body shop type shops and home stores. Its a pain to trace out, and I found it less time consuming to just buy new emblems off a discount site or Ebay.

Glad using heat worked out for you! Good luck making a 2 sided tape template for that emblem. PITA!! I would consider either buying a new one emblem or removing all the remaining tape and using 3M Trim glue to reattach back on.

Just a thought but how about sticking one side of the tape to the emblem and then try trimming the tape around the emblem before removing the protective paper from the other side. An exacto knife might work.

My thought was close to this. I was thinking of laying the emblems on the tape and tracing with a marker, or similar, around the outside. Then cutting the tape about a 1/8" or so inside this line and test fit. Trim as necessary. I have the tape on order.
