Default 1963 Corvette - Anthony's Auto Detailing

I got an email last week from a client saying they had a 1963 Corvette in a barn. After exchanging a few emails I found out the Corvette was restored about 3 years, so I was glad to be dealing with a basecoat/clearcoat. As I pulled up to the owner's house for an evaluation of the vehicle, I realized this isn't a "barn." This is one of the most beautifully decorated, and most comfortable "homes" for vehicles I have ever encountered. I was ecstatic to work in such a facility and to earn a client such as himself. The owner was very straight-forward, and it turns out we lived on the same street about 15 years ago without knowing. Anyway, the owner got the car from a shop doing some work on it when he realized the paint had all sorts of scratches and marks on it. The shop obviously used some terry cloth or dirty, dusty towel to wipe dust off the car. I'm sure they had good intentions with presenting the owner with a clean car, but they had no idea the damage they were doing and what it would cost to owner to get correct.

On to the detail...

Products Used:
Optimum No Rinse
Adam's All Purpose Cleaner
Adam's Glass Cleaner
Adam's Interior Cleaner
Adam's Leather Conditioner
M105/D300 mixture on MF cutting disc
Sonax 3/6 Nano Polish on White LC polishing pad
Flex XC3401-VRG
Adam's sVRT
Chemical Guy's Bare Bones Undercarriage Spray
ONR(clay lube dilution)
Meguiar's fine grade clay
ONR(detail spray dilution)
CG Blacklight on black finishing pad
Adam's Americana paste wax

Some pictures aren't the greatest...this is the first time I used this specific camera for a detail indoors, I was learning a lot about the aperture and exposure settings.

I also made a quick little video of the detail:

During initial inspection:

Taped off the mirrors just as a precaution

All taped off and ready:

Claying

After claying the back 1/4 of the car

Some polishing shots(after M105/D300, but before Sonax 3/6)

Final shots

Thanks for looking!
