I like the results I get with Mequiars product. So I've decided to go with Mirror Glaze products and have a question.
I have a 05 C6 Corvette that is Magnetic Red Metallic in color. I have a fantastic deep finish, and have what I call fine spider webs in the clear coat. This bothers the heck out of me though my wife doesn't see them.
My question is whether to use M205 or Mirror Glaze #9 with a Lake County CCS orange pad using my PC to eliminate the swirls. I would then follow with New Car Glaze and #26 Liquid wax
Thanks, Ken
M205 is a light finishing polish and might not have enough cutting power, you might need two-step starting with 105 or 101. Orange pads are typically abrasive and not normally used with a finishing polish.

I think for the light swirl marks I have these may be too abrasive and may be overkill . Thoughts?

M205 is a finishing polish and can remove light marring and also amps up gloss and reflection. You want to start light abrasive, and if it doesn't work then move more abrasive. I would not however use a finishing polish with an abrasive pad. I personally would use the more abrasive polish and light cutting pad next.
