Default Buffers / Polishers

I'm looking into polishers / buffers to polish / wax cars. I have a C 6 Vette and two Tahoes. Looking for a polishers that can handle both car types. Never used a polisher, always elbow grease. Looking for best deal on light budget. Any advise?

Autogeek.net has sales, get on their email list.
Bought my flex kit from them over a year ago great price and awesome customer service.
Still yet to use it, hopefully take a crack at wife's mdx soon.

I bought a Griot's Garage kit with bag and I really like it. It was about $300, I just wish it came with a stronger compound for the polishes.

Here is a guy with a C6 vette and some products:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/car-...adams-fmp.html

Adam's has some new GM specific products I wanna try as well.

Menzerna is a great compound for Corvettes because of the hard clear coat.

Here is my little detail: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/car-...vette-z06.html

Do research on products and figure what brand of detail kit you want (DP, Pinnacle, Black Fire, Wolfgang, etc). They all have buffers with the products you need or at least the essentials.

Good to hear you are considering stepping up to the world of machine polishing! Once you get a machine in your hands, you'll kick yourself for doing it by hand for so long, I guarantee that!

We offer two different machines, the Flex 3401 and the Cyclo Model 5-Pro. Both are great, capable machines that are very user friendly.

Take a look though our machine kits here: Adam's Machine Polisher Kits

Also, any machine that we well comes backed with a Lifetime Warranty, above and beyond the standard factory warranty. We offer a forum discount as well that saves you 10% off every purchase, which can be a considerable savings when you are looking at a machine kit!

There are a couple of proven two-step polishes that work extremely well on GM paint especially the harder coats like the Vette.

Menzerna SIP and 085rd
Wolfgang TSR and FG 3.0 (uses ceramiclear abrasives)\
Megs 105 and 205
Blackfire Swirl Remover and Finishing Polish
