Would like to remove wheels (one at a time) in order to clean the inside of wheel and I'm looking for a low profile jack that I can use. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Check out Harbor Freight or Sears .... both offer low profile jacks. Remember to get the better one (handles more weight) as its build bit better and the lifting cup is better. Also consider getting a set of jacking pucks from a vendor.
I have used the aluminum racing jack that Harbor Freight sells for three years now with no issues. I have seen this jack on sale for $57.00 on sale recently. HF is the best bang for the buck in hydraulic jacks.
Just bought this jack a few weeks ago and it works great. The only downside is that it's pretty heavy. My car is lowered and I had to drive up on wood blocks with my old Craftsman jack to get it under my car. It's nice not to have to do that anymore.
