I know there's been bad blood between the forum and Formula 113. I don't know why, but from my experience Mike (The owner of Formula 113) is a good guy. He e-mailed me and offered to detail my car for FREE, I was amazed at the before and after using his products. So amazed I bought a starter kit. He even discounted the price of the starter kit. He was also doing his vette. His 97 torch red vette looked like it was brand new.
I don't want this to turn into a Zaino is the best and nothing else can ever compare thread. I have bought zaino and haven't had the time to use it. When I get the chance I will use it and see how good it is. I have no problems with the Z, just need more free time to start the whole process. Til then I will use formula 113, it's got a great, deep shine.
I just wanted to give Mike some thanks for helping me out. :)
I know I'm not the only one that has liked Formula 113. What has Mike done to upset everyone here? Over at thirdgen.org they like formula 113 too. I know they're not vettes, but no one has a problem with Mike or his product. http://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/show...hreadid=117881
I would be happy to share the e-mails he has sent me over the years, lets see there are the e-mails where he threatened myself and my family, he has been kicked off most of the car Forums and detail Forums for SPAMMING, he has threatened many CF members, he has lied to this Forum when asked what was in his products, he has a personal vendetta against Zaino and the owner of Zaino, say something negative about his product and you to will find out what we all know. You may want to get a copy of the Guru Report http://www.gurureports.org , they tested the top 46 waxes/polishes, see how your favorite product did. :yesnod: :yesnod:
Is it possible you could share some of the emails with me, it's not that I don't believe you i'm just amazed that someone made threats over a car polish. I've been around this forum awhile although I don't post much I check it everyday and respect the opinions of the members here, thats why I always ask for opinions here before trying something although i'll probably stick with Zaino cause it's done my car proud.

What has he done?
Well, first he sent me free product about 18 months ago. I -really- was going to try it. But I threw it in the TRASH after he told Corvetteforum that he got the "Corvetteforums" domain and was threatening to use it against us. What an a-hole.
Then he threatened to crash CI-2 just to be a pain in the butt and bring tension to an otherwise fun time we were all looking forward to. (glad he didn't show up)
Then a few months after that he sent me spam after I posted some Zaino pics (making no mentioned of Formula 113) to get me to try his stuff.
And lastly, I make a comment that wax products contain sloppy oils because wax doesn't shine on it's own, and he sends me this e-mail, which I replied to with class.
Michael,
I'm happy with what I'm using.
My best,
Patrick

Guess who, I seen your post and was wondering if you ever tried the products?
Sloppy oils are in many products, I agree. If my products are sloppy then why do I sell out at just about every show I go to. I just returned from 2 very big car shows, one in Wildwood,NJ and the car show in Ocean City, MD. I sold over a 100 cases of each, ********** and beadx. I have been doing these shows for over 7 years and cannot keep up with the orders. I had to call NY to get another van full. I know zaino last longer then mine, after all the coats it should, but one coat of ********** is killer.
I am not mad at what you said, just wanted to respond to it in a nice way, I know that I have made some mistakes on the corvette forum, but I was provoked. When I first starting going to the CF, I did not understand the rules and got into all kinds of crap, this is going on for over 3 years and its getting a little boring. I always check the forum, I am in the wings just watching and some times responding to some post's like yours.
I don't get mad, I get even, and I proved it the last 2 weekends. If you walked through the thousands of cars parked on the boardwalk and the inlet parking lot you would have seen many many people using the beadx and the 113. Where is zaino??????
If you would like me to send you some free products to try for your self, let me know.
Thanks

Normally, I stay out of this junk, but you asked. I found him posting spam on a Mustang Forum, using a month old post from the Corvette Forum stating that the individual had used the product and liked it. Within a few days that same post and individual contained a bit more information about the longevity, or lack of.
MP only posted the good portion and failed to copy the entire post, which was there at the time he did the copy. That was his faux paux, since I was a regular CF visitor/poster and familiar with that particular post. I responded, copying the entire post including a link to it and asking him to be honest and truthful with his posts.
I received major kudos from the Mustang Forum members for bringing to light the entire story, and received "less than pleasant" mail from MP. After 2 "less than pleasant" mails I added him to my server "Delete" filter and have no clue if he ever contacted me after that.
He tried one more time to spam in that forum under a different identity and they tossed him off. Seems to be a pretty typical story for this guy on many forums I visit. If the product is that good, then word of mouth will sell it, not sleazy tactics.
The good news is I received a ton of Mustang business from that post. I guess I should have thanked him, but well....
As we all say, if you are comfortable with the product and like the results, then great, be happy with the choice.
I still have that filter turned on, but I suspect I will get an attempt to contact after this post.
Is it possible you could share some of the emails with me, it's not that I don't believe you i'm just amazed that someone made threats over a car polish.
believe it! I've received several emails from him. All of them totally bashing me, calling me names and threatening me.
I'm sure i'll get another one after this post
I've criticized 113 because of the deceptive advertising on it's web site, not telling people it's a carnauba based wax until you buy it. And, it just doesn't do everything it says it will do on the web site or product label. Each time I say something negative about 113 I get a nasty email, like others. I haven't saved these. The last email I got did offer me a full refund.
