Looking for OBD2 scanner - PC based
I am looking for a PC-based OBD2 code scanner. I have a cheap handheld code reader already, but it only gives basic codes and the ability to erase them. I want much more than this. I want in-depth reading of all codes, and in real time. I have '08 Vette, plus two other GM vehicles.
I have a great Windows 7 laptop already, so all I need is the software and connectors. I've been shopping around but there seems to be a dizzying array of scanners.
I'd be willing to spend up to ~$500. I know this isn't going to get me the top-of-the-line scanner tool, but I'm hoping someone can recommend something that is almost pro-level, but yet still somewhat easy to use.
