Default Basic questions on Zaino

The owner of a detail shop is conducting a Corvette detailing workshop. The detailer uses Zaino products and is a Zaino distributor. One person's Corvette will be used for demonstration purposes.

I am concerned that some people attending this workshop, including me, may have heard of Zaino but don't know a lot about the product.

What happens if someone's car is detailed with Zaino, and the owner decides Zaino is not for him? What happens if conventional car wash products or quick detailers are used over Zaino?

What happens if someone buys Zaino car wash or Zaino spray detailer and decides to switch back to a conventional car wax? Could the Zaino products still be used?

Thanks.

I've used Zaino AOI since it was introduced. I sometimes top it with Z5. I use different wash products on it. I sometimes try other products over it. Their products play well with others.....in my experience.

If you don't like it you can remove it. Traditional washes or detailers are fine to use over it, won't hurt anything. Yes you can still use the wash and detailer on traditional wax. Once again it won't hurt anything.

The nice thing I've found with the detailer (Z6) it doesn't seem to build up and streak like the Megs I was using. It also has an antistatic in it and doesn't attract dust as much. I've mixed Z6 50/50 with distilled water and it doesn't seem to effect anything either.

Dave, Dave, Dave.....
All of those questions will be answered. The goal of the seminar is to educate people on how their car should be cleaned/setup for the car shows, regardless of the product.
Our goal is to educate the club on what the judges look for versus the actual product being used. Of course if you don't use us to detail your car or use our products, you will lose
Seriously this will be a product neutral seminar.
If the owner decides the look is not for them, it will take us 20 minutes to remove it.
Out of the over 3,000+ cars we have done so far.. we have not had one person come back and ask us to remove the product. 65, 5 star Yelp reviews that are novels, says we are doing something right.

Our reputation has polish/wax manufactures sending us free product to try, but in our tests we simply have not found anything that beats Zaino.
To others, Yes your personal opinion will vary, but as a pro detailer that relies on cars leaving my shop with jaw dropping results, dealing with the upper echelon of Silicon Valley(Many you see in the news daily) at reasonable price, we simply have not found anything to beat Zaino in the market it is targeted.

I have tried alot of products and have found Zaino to be one of the best. Just washed the 04Z with dawn this weekend and followed up with claybar of the whole car. Will rewash the car today with Z7 than start the process with AOI, Z6, Z2, Z6, Z5, Z6. Will have the Black Z like a mirror.

Don't forget the Z-8 Grande Finale spray though. You will really be impressed!

I have had 6 more people sign up since they found out your seminar was going to be product neutral. They all want to see how you detail a Corvette. I am really enthused about this.

It's not rocket science, it's just a product you apply to a freshly clean polished surface…..

And yes, Zaino is still the king for daily drivers in my opinion….

Show cars and fresh wax takes a back seat to no one….

It's all about how much you are willing to do to make the paint pop….

Exactly, Prep is 80% of making a good detail. Zaino promotes this and thereby makes it a complicated product to use
I actually had someone tell me Clear Seal is complicated... Really, you wipe it on, and you are done.... Yes apparently for some that is complicated.

Clear Seal is still my favorite product. Takes me all of 5 minutes to do the entire corvette and it looks amazing. I can't believe I am still using the same bottle from almost 7-8 years ago...and that's with 3 cars.

So Dave how did we do?
Received a lot of compliments on the car. The owner was blown away by how it looked, along with many others
Great compliments on the seminar and many were overloaded with information, but very appreciative of what we delivered.
Your take?

Any pics of the car you detailed for the doubters?

I'm a longtime user and have converted at least half a dozen friends. A couple are damned near obsessive about the stuff now!
