Default Cleaning Grey Painted GS Wheel Barrels

What is a recommended product for cleaning brake dust and road crud from the grey painted inside wheel barrels of chrome GS wheels? I plan to remove the wheels.

You should consider using a detail brush when cleaning wheels to keep dirt off the barrels as possible, or to a minimum.

When removing the wheels you can clean them with your wheel cleaner first. Then consider using a paint cleansing lotion and even a paint polish as needed. I have heard some using Tar Removers and even Wd40. Just remember to test in small areas and never clean them while hot.

To make future cleanup easy, and likely to avoid having to remove wheels. Consider coating the wheel barrels which makes a long term notable difference.

Our Deep Wheel Cleaner does a killer job on brake dust. Make sure you follow the instructions and spray the DWC on a cool dry wheel.
