I myself prefer the Lake Country 5.5 flat pad over the Hydrotech and CCS pads of theirs. Really comes down to ones own taste to me.The pads have their own "abrasiveness" to them. Yellow and Orange are the most aggressive with yellow being the most. usually for heavy marring/correction work. Then white-black- blue-gold. You can change up pads for different effects. I more than likely start with the white pad.
Check out Autogeek as there is a new line of pads out which I will soon venture to try.
I like LC hydro tech pads for many reasons, but one of the most obvious is that there are only 3 abrasive levels. Simple and effective for almost all polishing.
Now that said, please realize Klasse AIO is a chemical based paint cleaner with some protection benefits. It has no real polishing abrasives in it. So using the wrong pad might actually harm paint and cause some light marring . I would use a non abrasive pad with this product specifically.
If you are also using Klasse SG (silver bottle, pure sealant) there is a trick to getting awesome results without it being challenging. Put a ounce or two in a small travel size hairspray bottle. Spritz it on, then immediately buff off via MF towel. After a couple hours it will still fully cure to a rock hard appearance.
