Does any one have a good way to get the inside of the winshield clean. it is soooo hard to get to . it seems that no matter what i try, as soon as the sun shine on the window I see streaks.
I use Stoner's Invisible glass, available at AutoZone. I clean only with crumpled newspaper and this seems to work fairly well. Good luck! :seeya
this is the best I have found so far, but still not good enough. Hoping somebody has some suggestions too. I have heard just water and a towel will do the trick. I'm going to try it, but I don't think so. :seeya
Yes, I finally found one that works very well. It is called Glass Wax. You can find in local hardware stores.
Glass Wax is an old product. It cleans the windows the first time. Streak free. Believe me I used everything.
If you don't want to use Glass Wax, try applying any other glass cleaner, windex or stoners etc. Let it dry, then
polish window with a good dry cloth. You must apply alot of elbow grease. If front inside window has alot of haze,
two cleaning will be necessary. Remember, the more dressing you use on the dash, the more haze you
will have especially in the Summer. Good luck.

Here's another vote for Glass Wax. Leaves the windows streak-free and sparkling when wiped off with a microfiber towel. A little goes a long way. But be careful, tends to stain black plastic and doesn't smell all that great (but it does bring back memories when my mother used it when I was a kid back in the Fifties).
That Glass Wax sounds interesting. I've never heard of it before, but I'm goind to poke around the hardware store the next time I'm there and see if they carry it.
I have used Stoner's Invisible Glass in the past, and it is okay, but have found SprayWay Glass Cleaner to be more effective. I like to use the SprayWay combined with a quality microfiber towel...works very well.
I posted yesterday about stoner's, well after going on an evening cruise with the wife, she noted how many streaks there were on my windows and said she would clean them in the morning. She used glass wax and man they are damn near invisible now. I hate to admit it but she helped keep my ride looking tip top, now if I could only convincer her to polish the car I would be set! :seeya
I have few if any streaks on my windows and this is how I clean them. I spray Invisible Glass on a paper towel and wipe down the window. I immediatly follow up with a dry paper towel. After a few moments I will take a dry 100% cotton towel and wipe down the entire inside of the window. The most important part is that I do this in the garage where the glass can remain cool. It is almost impossible to get glass streak free when the glass is hot from the sun or other means.
Here is where you can buy on line:

If you need more info, just let me know. As I stated before, the stuff cleans the haze off like no other product.
The added plus is, it is so easy to use. Good luck,
Joe
