Microfiber towels must only be washed in distilled water by a virgin.

I throw them out after a cleaning session or save them for one more use cleaning my rims.

I have been told to wash in cold wash/rinse.

Same for drying. Put dryer on delicate and low heat.

You are correct about no fabric softener.

I use Tide with Griots MF wash solution. Under-dry them and lay them out to finish drying. Use tweezers to pick off any crap still stuck to them.

Good to go, and I know nothing harmful is stuck in them.

OMG... you made me google it and they really do have MF wash solution.
