Default Buffing compound in jambs

how do i get 4 month old, dried up buffing compound out of the jambs of the hood, doors, headlight doors etc... ? i've tried q-tips dipped in paint reducer and that doesnt even work... anyone have and tips?

Try soaking the area down with a quick detailer.

Let it set a few minutes, and see if it wipes off.

Use a body shop prep wash. 3M makes one. It is a liquid that you apply with a towel. A word of caution though, it will take off any wax or polish that you have on the area as well.

Gad, your 69 is beautiful! Some good ideas above. I've used denatured alcohol on a Q-tip or cotton towel. It removes the build-up, but you'll need to rewax the area.

Those are suggestions I'd have given

When I had the nibs-runs sanded out of my car. It was immediately power washed and tooth brushed the areas(Only tough cracks on my car are the nose and bumper joining segments). Sorry I can't offer anything else.
