Default Light swirls on Hatch lid... car is ceramic coated - question on how to remove

Hi guys,

I have my car ceramic coated. I just got tint installed and there are some very light swirl marks on the hatch lid in the paint (likely from them wiping it down). Finger doesn't feel them but you can see them when sun hits it at right angle.

Being my car is ceramic coated I don't want to remove the properties in that.

What is a safe way I can remove the swirls?

Thanks.

only way to remove the swirls would be by polishing, which in turn would remove the coating............ you can correct the paint, but need to reapply the coating to that specific area.................

There is no way to correct the paint without removing the coating.

Car Pro offers something called Essence plus, that supposedly made just for this situation.

The first “repair” and enhance for ceramic coatings!

http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-essence-plus.html

Haven't tried it myself, but have heard it works pretty well.

Also Kamikazee Overcoat and reduce the look of the swirls.

My shop does Ceramic Pro, simple answer take it back and have your installer fix it.
I would guess you have some kind of warranty? Use it!!

There was just a thread on this and some of the guys said it was because he represented a wax company, which I agree with, but you raise the issue he addressed and it's a reason I won't be going that route.
