Default Hot weather detailing

As some of you may have seen it is crazy hot in the SW and I am looking for advice on detailing in this heat. Even in the shade it is over 100 and my quick detailer, V07 isn't cutting it as it streaks and evaporates on the paint. I have a garage kept black Z, but the dust and heat in AZ makes it a challenge to keep clean. Any advice on a QD that is heat friendly? Thanks in advance!

That's my usual plan but at 11pm last night it was still over 100. It was 95 this morning at 730 in Tucson. I know this is unique but I don't know if there are products that are better formulated for this type of environment.

Poorboys
Kenotek
McKees 37

But remember, if it's too hot to touch, it's too hot to detail.

The Z stays so hot on the hood that even after sitting all night in the garage the hood is plenty warm. Thanks for the recommendations on the detailing products.

I think it may be best to wait until the extreme heat passes unless you have an air conditioned garage.

I've got the same problem with mine. The hood and top are clear coated carbon fiber (so black), and my old black 14.

Another person from tucson. I personally use adams for everything but very rarely use any quick detailer I just wash the car. I normally do it sundays when the shade from my house covers the driveway.

I'm a new-b to Adam's and just purchased their H20 & Ceramic Boost for my car. I must say these 2 products look insane on my metallic black after a wash! For paint that's already corrected, I can't think of anything else that would work better.

I dont think its the heat that is the problem, rather the direct sun light... Im going to repeat what the gentleman said above...keep the car in the garage during the day (to keep the body cool) and detail it just as the sun is going down, and you shouldn't have the problems with the detailer...

I have used a wax called driven. The line of products are excellent. I originally used this on my boat and used to wax the boat while on the water on Lake Havasu when it's been 115. I would jus beach the boat and stand it the water and wax away. I stayed cool and waxed the boat from the water line up. Then when it was on the trailer I would do the bottom part of the boat. It works great. Their other products work well too.

I've used many high end car care products over the years, but I am sold on Adams car care products, their detail spray is the best! Not cheap though, not sure about detailing a car in 100* heat?

put fans in your garage and run them all night and try to cool it down a little then wake up real early and try to get it clean..... then take a nap after.

It got down to the low 70s overnight so I was up early giving her a quick wipe down and wheel detail. When the rains start in a week or so things should be a little cooler. So far for the year we have only had .44 inches of rain. Makes driving the Z daily a breeze. Thanks for all the advice.
