Default Waffle Pads Question

When will I use the 3" pads and the 6.5 Pads.

Waffle pads? Are you referring to Lake Country CCA pads?

In general the smaller pads are used for tight spaces and the larger pads for general body work.

Thats what I thought, I just seen people use the 3" for entire car.
