It is a chamois, similar to the lower-quality ones sold at auto parts stores. The Absorber is a little more, but is a much higher-quality product. I would use that rather than the Hydra-Wipe

I used a hydra-wipe on my c3 for many years. Actually I have gone through two of them in 15 years. I still have the 2nd one but it is getting beat so I don’t use it on the C5.
Do you guys really think the Absorber is a better product? They sure are a lot easier to find.
I assume the Absorber will not scratch the clearcoat. How do you clean them?

Instructions are inside the container. Basically you just rinse them out, wring them out, refold them, and put them back into the container. If they get dirty you just toss them in the washer, refold, and put in the container.
