Default Overspray removal from suspension parts

Any suggestions on how to remove overspray from painted suspension parts? Specifically, I have a set of Eibach springs for a non-Corvette that were hit with overspray. I suspect that I could clay them, but that seems like it would take forever to do so.

A little lacquer thinner on a rag works as long as you don't overdo it and start taking the paint off your painted suspension parts. Generally, only the new overspray comes off. Alot easier than trying to hit it with the clay,.

Give clay bar a try before you use the lacquer thinner, The thinner may remove the finish on the spring. Use the thinner is a inconspicuous test spot first.
