Default Best way to remove small area of Ceramic Coating

Working on a project that will require the use of double sided body molding tape. Car was just recently ceramic coated (Kamikaze Miyabi Coat), and obviously tape wont stick well to the ceramic coating.

What is the best way to remove a small area of ceramic coating (I am talking about an area that is roughly 25mm x 45mm, so a very small area)?

Acetone? IPA? Tape area off and use elbow grease and some polishing compound?

Thanks in advance!

Have you contacted the manufacturer of the ceramic coating and asked that question. It might be on their website under FAQ.

I use hand polish with M105. I left a few tiny water spot after i did my coating. I was able to get to the water spot with m105 and microfiber. Then i re-coated it again.

I taped off an area with painters tape, then used a white polishing pad and finishing compound.

Hand working it didn't work for the Kamikaze I put on my car.

Got to your local auto parts store and get Meguiars 100 or 105. Then use it to remove the Kamikaze, rub the area by hand, if you don't have a buffer, wipe it down, do it again, wipe it down and then do it a third time.
this should in essence rough up/remove the Kamikaze coat and allow you to add your body moulding
