Default Dealing with Auto Geek -

After reading all the different comments about BeadMaker - I decided to order some to give it a try. So I went to the Auto Geek website to place my order. When doing so it stated that I would get 15% off for being a new customer. After I placed my order I received an email stating that I would get 25% off for the 4th of July special. I sent an Email to Auto Geek asking if I can change my order from the 15% to the 25% discount - the next day I received a response saying yes - and today my credit card sent me an email saying I received the difference - payment back.

I will buy from Auto Geek again - great customer service - honest - backs up what they say -

I would recommend them (which doesn't mean much) but I will tell friends and those at car shows, etc. about how I was treated.

ps - just clay bared the Stingray and put the Beadmaker on - so far so good (it says give it 8 hours to cure) - looks great - will see over the next few weeks

I also like the beadmaker.

And yes auto geek is great and has plenty of specials.

As as others have said "watch out you'll spend a ton of money before you know it" shopping on their site.
I am guilty of this also......

I have always had great service from Autogeek and Autopia (same place, no idea why two sites). Second place goes to Detailed Image, who I also spend a lot with.

And enjoy the Bead Maker! It will look even more glossy tomorrow after a full cure! Put a second coat on soon and it will layer well. A little more durable that way.

Not to disparage Autogeek as I'll still buy there when they have a sale + free shipping and they have possibly the largest selection products among the online vendors, but may wanna also look at Autoality in Pittsburgh. Their Detailer's Club at $50 a year gets you around 25% off all day, every day. Not quite the selection of AG or DI but they're constantly adding vendors. Shipping is always same day, reasonable and since I live relatively close by in NE Ohio, pretty quick. It's a very nice option and options are good.

In 2018 I was a member of the Detailed Image wholesale tier at the highest ($2500+ I believe) level and they were still higher for same items than Autoality.

At the rate I buy things to try, gotta do everything I can to keep costs low lest my wife recognize the expenditures and then go out and buy another 20 pairs of shoes to keep our fiscal world in balance.

Edit: OK, she'd have to buy about *2000* pairs of shoes to keep up with my last 3 years.

For the NEWBY's , AutoGeek has a business model where they have CONSTANT Sales...
One after the Other after the Next.....so just wait or place things in cart and check out later.....
I suggest waiting for FREE SHIPPING after spending $50 as that doesnt take much to exceed...

Every so often they have FREE Shipping with NO Minimum......

Im not sure there 25% off is less than AMAZON but with Free Shipping Im thinking its the lowest
available...

Im in WA state and AMAZON, EBAY and AUTOGEEK all charge Sales Tax...

And if yer looking for something big (i.e. a Rupes DA which are ALWAYS excluded from sales) they will occasionally offer 1 or 2 Gift Certificate sales where you can get get gift certificates at a discount. $100 for $80, $250 for $200, $500 for $375 which you can then use like CASH to buy a Rupes, essentially giving you a discount on normally excluded items.

Also, with gift certificates you can stack the discounts; buy at $500 certificate at 25% off then use it to pay for items during a 25% off sale, essentially getting a significant discount above and beyond the stated sale discount.

They usually start offering these around Black Friday thru the holidays but ya gotta be quick as they come and go in the blink of an eye. Sign up for their newsletter on the home page to get notified of these, some of which are 'newsletter only' sales. Occasionally they also do Facebook-only sales/promos as well if you follow their Facebook page. Same goes for Autopia, sister site and under the same corporate umbrella as Autogeek (as is Pinnacle, Wolfgang, Blackfire and Marine 31.

If you need to buy big, the Black Friday thru the holidays is the best time to do it.

I have been an Autogeek customer for over 10 years. Mike Phillips has helped me on several occasions, great guy and a wealth of knowledge.

I agree with the exclusions BUT, if you call them, tell them the product is on another site cheaper, they have discounted for me and gave me free shipping. I bought a master blaster that way, couldn't believe the discount. 25% off and free shipping is the best I've seen for years, I do the cart thing also and purchase when I get the email.

I mainly order from AutoGeek. Good selection & prices. Don't forget about the 10% Corvette Forum discount on regular priced items.
