Need windshield cleaning tool
I am looking for a windshield cleaning tool similar to this one:

I started to buy this one with their glass cleaner, but it was going to be $42 with shipping. Is there a similar product that is sold at auto parts stores or a different web site? Thanks.

looks like a good idea- I haven't been able to clean a small area around the HUD - in between the windshield. $42 is steep though - you may be able to improvise and make one on your own with a microfibel towel, short stick and some foam backing. Should only cost a few bucks. :seeya

I found something just like this at "Bed Bath and Beyond". It is sold as a triangle duster. I wrap paper towels over it and their are 4 star-like shaped cuts on the top that hold the paper towels in place. It works great. I think I paid about $2.99 for it. Unfortunately their isn't a name on it and I threw the box away. Check out BB&B, you can save about $40 bucks...

After trying sticks and objects to get a towel into the space where the window meets the dash, I've found a plain microfiber towel works great. I spray the towel with cleaner, then push it into the space and move across the dash/window. It also gets into the space where the HUD meet the window without needing to use a stick.

I was looking for a tool for a gift. I ordered two of the tools from Griot's, but not their cleaner. That made them $28 each shipped. I'll let you know how it works.
