Has anyone used ceramic spray such as Mothers, Meguiars on C1 or C2 bodies and if so were you satisfied
with the results?
Thanks in adavance
I've used both, in concept the Meguiars is simpler to use, spray it on while the cars wet then towel dry off.
I never had good luck with it though as it always left residue. Definitely a user error and over application of product but I can't for the life of me get less product on the car with even coverage. Second the spray head drips so doing the flat surfaces is a pain.
Mothers tells you to apply over clean dry paint but even cheating and spraying onto a mostly wet surface after blow drying the car it comes out streak free.
Mothers seems to last longer, about 20%.
This guy does a great job reviewing products and has helped me with a lot of buying decisions
I have used Griot’s Ceramic on my Yukon and it went on well. I did 2 coats, 24 hours apart. Did so in the fall, will be interested to see the durability this spring now that we are well into winter and have had some harsh conditions (ie. salt). Initially, it gave a great shine and silky smooth!
