Detailing stool
Anyone have a recommendation for a good detailing stool? Looking for something good and rugged that will last. I see Adam's Polishes has two types as does Griot's. I've tried the one form the big box auto parts store and they didn't last very long.
Thanks in advance

I bought one like this about five years ago and still use it. Kept it on a carport exposed to some rain for several years. The raised back makes it a bit more comfortable for me than the flat tops. The seat cover is also more durable than those with vinyl covered foam. Had one of those and trashed it within about a year as it rusted and the cover and foam seat started coming apart. I'd buy this one again if I needed another.

Been using one of these for years, been really good. I think it is made by others just with different name on seat from other companies.

I take the backs off office chairs and install "rollerblade" casters found on ebay.
The wider base prevents you from tipping over when you try to roll over garage or driveway relief cuts that catch the smaller wheels.

I have the Griot's Garage Compact Sit-On Creeper with the seat pad and bottle carriers.
My only problem is that it's comfortable enough that my wife keeps borrowing it for yard work.
I was waxing my wheels this weekend (I admit it ... I don't have a life!) and was quite comfortable despite the angle and low height.
For the money, the Griot's product is a good option, and obviously versatile. I store BOS wax in the center compartment.

So technically speaking, anyone and everyone who has posted a photo of what they currently use or recommend has given a "stool sample?
…yeah, that's totally not an awkward or disturbing thought

The Matco link above has product reviews, and not very good ones it seems.
Would be nice to get some opinions from full-time detailers that have put many to the test.

Mine is not Matco branded one. It is pretty much identical. It has Prolift on top mine was half that price and I use it everyday just about and have no complaints, works extremely well for detailing and wrenching drawers are a godsend to myself personally. They sell it at Home Depot now as a matter of fact
