Default Window streaking

I can’t seem to keep my window streak free. They look clean but upon closer inspection they’re streaky. I’ve tried plain water and invisible glass thus far
Suggestions?

Sooooo many cleaners... try something you haven't yet. Even vinegar can work, depending on the residue.

I have had excellent results with Sonex Glass Cleaner and Sonex Microfiber Cleaner Towels.

I use bottled water and a micro fiber towel. No streaks.

When window is dry after cleaning, buff with a microfiber cloth.

When prepping my C6 for a show, I use Sprayway cleaner inside and out. After cleaning I polish with my DA using a microfiber bonnet using a light mist of Sprayway. For the final detail I mist with P&S Paint Gloss Spray and Shine and buff with the DA with a clean Micro fiber bonnet, perfect every time!

I use whatever glass cleaner I have handy. Usually my Meguiar's D120 diluted 10:1 with water. Honestly, any glass cleaner will work fine. The important thing is your towels and your technique. I use a dedicated waffle-weave glass towel for initial application of the glass cleaner and wiping. Then, I follow up with a short-nap microfiber dry towel or another waffle-weave dry towel to do a second buff and remove any streaking or residue. Done. Easy-peasy. Once the glass is clean, the maintenance is a breeze. I almost never use glass cleaner again. Just some detail spray, waterless wash spray, or even a spray wax for cleaning. That also adds some protection and makes the glass harder to fog up. Again, the two-towel method is used for that too.
