Recently purched C6 yellow, 30,000 miles. I have an appointment Wednesday for a paint correction and ceramic coat.
How many choose to protect the front with a applied clear wrap? I understand the materal doesn't like ceramic.to adhere to. I have a couple of dings in the front already.

If you want to use PDF you need to do it after paint correction, but before ceramic coating the car. PPF is the only way to really protect from rock chips and scratches, even a professional grade ceramic coating isn't going to do much in that regard. I got a couple quotes for PPF and honestly it would be abou the same price as paint in the end.

get it corrected then coated
Then get the PPF- Its worth it, we had it on our last car & they said bring it back just prior to the warranty runs out & they would re-do it fro free

Paint correction, then PPF wrap, then ceramic coat over that the PPF.

Doing the nose is a good idea, behind the wheels, etc. My C7 seems to attract rocks like a damn magnet, whereas the C4 has 140K and almost no rock chips.

I've used PPF on all my cars. They all see high miles on the highway collecting pebbles at speed on the paint and windshield.

A few of my friends have garage queens that never see much use. For them it's a waste of $2,000 (recent Expel) for full frontal PPF.

Question is: Will your car be a driver or queen?

If you plan to drive it a lot and keep the car for a long time it’s worth it to help keep the paint in excellent shape. But If you don’t put slot of miles or change cars every few years probably isn’t worth it but entirely depends on your financial situation as well.
