Default Ceramic DIY question...

A couple years ago I bought the Avalon King product and coated our C6. Now I want to do our C7.

I kept everything in a ziplock bag stored in the house.

I have plenty of product left. Can I reuse the applicator pad, applicator rag and the towel again??

Thanks.

No I wouldn't. If you feel them they will likely be stiff and almost abrasive feeling. I found I needed to change the applicator rag a couple times per vehicle and used multiple towels to buff.

OP, how do you feel Avalon King has held up? I'm about to do my wife's car and finish with Armor Shield IX

I wouldn't either. For the low cost to replace it's not worth scratching the paint.

Cannot use the applicator rag and towel again, no dice.

If the product is still liquid after this time you might be able to use that, but I'd check closely around the lip for solid particles and not let them get on the new applicator and buff towels.

Only had the C6 for a few months after it was applied and before it was traded for the C7... No issues over that short time though.

I will not recommend reusing the applicator pad, applicator rag, or towel after they have been used to apply a ceramic coating. Ceramic coatings harden and cure to form a durable, protective layer on the surface of the car, and any leftover residue or contaminants on the applicator or towel could compromise the quality of the finish or cause damage to the car's surface If you do decide to reuse the applicator pad, applicator rag, or towel, it's important to thoroughly clean them first to remove any residual product or contaminants.
