Here is my amateur detailer take... I used Zaino for years with great results. I think if something has really worked in the past it does not all of a sudden stop working now, so I would say that it is still a great product. Where I differ from most hard core enthusiasts that get locked into just one brand I will purposely look for new technology that work either looks better and/or is easier to use. Personally although I found that the look of Zaino is really great it was a bit labor intensive, for me anyway. To that point I just think there are now some really great options on the market that will also give you a great look but are extremely easy to use. For example I like to use CarPro Hydro02 ceramic foam for quarterly touch ups. To do the entire car it take, I kid you not takes like 4-5 minutes and because it is a foam it gets into all of the hard to reach spots which there are A LOT with angular C8 Z06.
I have been a long time Zaino fan. I use the Zaino AIO (All-in-one) to start. Then 3 coats of the Z-5 PRO with the ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator Additive. Then seal with CS Clear Seal.
Then I tried Griots 3 in 1 ceramic wax. The shine is good and it lasted longer. YMMV.
Having said that, my black truck had water spots. The Griots 3 in 1 ceramic wax is useless there. I needed the Zaino AIO to remove them.
