SS paints have a tendency to oxidize. An old process has been to slather on Meg’s #7 and let penetrate overnight, buff with terry cloth. This acts to remove the dead paint, an nourish it with it’s water soluble oils. If micromarring and RIDS are an issue, just use you favorite light polish ( heavy cuts are not recommended. Afterwards and before applying you LSP, use the #7 to moisturize the paint
