How do I remove Teflon coating
I just got my 2008 vette cut and polished. It looks great. But he said he put teflon on the car (PTFE). How do I remove it to put ceramic coating on? Just to make it clear not the protective film Teflon.

PTFE paint protection isn't very durable. If you are lucky, just a high pH car soap (strip wash soap) will knock most of it down. After you dry the car, I would wipe it down with a panel prep spray like CarPro Eraser or any other brand. If you don't have access to any, then a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water will work. After finishing, spray the hood with a hose and see what kind of water beading remains. If it still beads water, then you will have to mechanically polish the paint to get the remaining PTFE off.
