Clay bar question
I just got my Zaino products today, I want to start with the clay after I wash the car with Dawn. Do I clay the entire car or just spots that look like it may need it like water spots or bug splats?
For the first time, I would clay the whole car. You will be able to tell which sections need to be gone over a little more carefully - especially the rear. It's a matter of getting the feel of it, but you'll definitely know when a panel is done.
This is how I go about claying the car. First I do the hood, and rear deck lid(bar if you have a coupe or FRC). Then I do the upper sides, nose, rear, and last the lower sides. Clay similar to how you would wash, dirtiest sections last. I clay my wheels once a year and apply Zaino Z5 to them everytime I wash the car and they look fantastic.
