How is ...?

I have used Malm's for over 10 years now -
It is the only wax I would use on my Harley - and it is the only wax I use on my Z -
In my opinion, it shines much better than the Zaino - and it is less expensive.
I had my car at the Cruise In last year and my Z had a at least as good, if not a better looking shine (IMO) than any of the other vehicles present - no offense to any of the Zaino affecianados.
I use the pink Malms liquid on finishes that already have swirls - and the liquid yellow on already good finishes.
I apply the Malms with a damp sponge - A pint bottle of Malms can last years as you do not need to put on a thick coat - application is spelled out in the instructions that come with the wax.
That is my two cents - I will not use the seven-step hunnert-dollar Z brothers stuff when I get outstanding results with the Malms I have been using for years. The only thing I have heard from the Zaino guys (all good guys mind you) is that Zaino will help repel dust. Malms does not repel dust in my experience, but it is great wax. You should see the beads of water rolling off my Z...
I tell you what Zorro, you buy a bottle of Malms and give it a try - if you do not like it, I will buy it from you - I am going to need another bottle soon as my friends have been borrowing my Malms to do their cars and bikes...

On an old finish it may be 7 steps, but on a new car it is no different than any other wax, you was the car and then wax it. For maximum effect you can use the Gloss Enhancer spray and add a second coat. I did this last weekend, and the entire process, not counting washing, was less than 30 minutes.
So let's be accurate folks, different strokes for different folks - OK.
Peace.

I agree. Check out my 9-yr old daily driver. I've had it since it was new and it has never been garaged. I've only waxed it about a total of 4 or 5 times and I just applied Z2 with ZFX drops to it for the first time two weeks ago. I only did one coat.

Looking good - I would surmise that most of the folks on this board are car-savvy enough to take care of the finish of the cars they own.
In reality, you could rub monkey-snot on your car and if you cleaned it regulary and took basic precautions to protect the finish from tree-sap etc, your car will look MUCH better than "Joe Pickup" that runs it through the no-touch once every two years.
I have tried Zaino - how many of the Zaino clan has tried Malms? I guess that just leaves me to have a good idea of how they stack up, doesn't it?
I think Zorro was wanting opinions of non-Z goods, thus my input here.
No Zaino bashing from me - just my personal opinions. And in my opinion, your Jeep looks excellent in that pic.

FWIW I am not a big waxer so I am not the best person to report on this stuff. I just liked the way Z2/ZFX has worked on my vehicles. Where is Malms sold? I don't remember seeing it at PepBoys.

It is only available through the Malms web site as far as I know.
I use the liquid, not the paste.
I will bring mine to the CI4.

I want info on other alternatives specifically Malms and Cherry Wet wax - thanks for the Malms review I will strongly consider it ...
