Zaino - first time user
Just ordered some Zaino. Does the Dawn dish soap do a decent job of removing old wax? How many coats should I do right out of the gate?

Dawn does a great job. The Zaino website has great directions. If you are using the ZFX additive (I highly recommend you do) you can do a maximum of 3 coats in a 24 hour period.
I would recommend you clay bar the car before you begin the Zaino treatment. Zaino sells a clay bar but there are many others out there also. Break off a chunk of the clay and mash it into a circle about the size of a silver dollar...uses a spray bottle with water and a little car wash in it to lubricate the clay bar. The clay bar is awesome for getting anything off your paint...

Actually, I wouldn't use water and would recommend the Z-6 spray in conjunction with the clay bar. I didn't feel the need to clay my entire car. I did use it on the sides, at the very bottom under the doors to remove some road tar. As said, follow the Tips and Tricks section on the Zaino website.

You only Dawn before the first coat and then never again. As for initial coats, 1 if you are using Z1 first, up to 3 if you are using ZFX. Also, apply a light coat of Z6 between coats.
