Paging DetailDude...

I'm not a real fan of liquids waxes as the final layre for a few reasons:
1. The white powdery residue can act as a very mild abrasive and induce some light surface scratches making it a tiny bit less optically clear. Zaino being one exception to this as they're water-based and have very little powder.
2. Less wax content makes it more expensive. With good paste waxes like those that have been mentioned on here lately like P21S, Zymol, Lusso, Pinnacle, and your favorite, 3M, you put on very little wax. From one container of a quality paste you should see 25-35 applications.
3. Set up time is minimal as there is more wax and less chemicals. Pastes set up in between 30-90 seconds.
4. With the pastes you put wax on so that it's barely visible requiring just light contact with the surface..... making it less likely of introducing surface scratches...... thus making the surface more reflective.
Now the above represents a typical paste -v- liquid. You didn't mention what liquid you were using so I didn't go into that all that much. Just naming a few liquid waxes out there that have minimal dust there's Zaino, Formula 113, Ibiz and possibly the 3M product (if I'm guessing correctly that you have 3M in your grubby little hand :jester ).
I hope you're not bored at this point! But like I said before: Yes.... and No!
Thanks Dude!!!!!

Best of luck to you! Keep us posted!
