I've used Zaino since I bought my car 9 months ago and the previous owner did as well. I like the shine but am curious about Pinnacle Souveran. Durability is not an issue since I love to detail my car. Do I apply Pinnacle directly over Zaino or do I Dawn and/or use the cleansing lotion?
I would suggest removing the Zaino first if you want to see the complete Pinnacle Finish. Use isopryl alcohol, then clay, and finally Pinnacles Paintwork Cleanser. This should bring finish back to original.
If you have not purchased Soveran, I suggest buying the Cycle Glaz. It works just as well as Soveran and slightly cheaper. The paste is superior to liquid in all forms. Other than durability (reapply monthly) or use of Crystal Mist after each wash, you will not have any regrets.
Good luck and contact me if other hints are needed.
Just got Pinnacle Cycle Glaz in my last order.Tried it on my new pre -owned 02 siler C5 conv. with 1500 miles. Used PCL first, not knowing what the dealer might have put on it. Wax worked as easy as Souveran ( $69.95 8oz) love the smell of the cycle glaz and @ $24.95 for 6oz. you can not beat the $$$. Going to try it on a black SUV this weekend.will report on it when I finish.
Beachcat, it's nice to be welcomed, how did your weekend detail go with the Pinnacle cycle glaze? I did that black SUV with it and the results are great. The finish is very slick and it really has a wet look. I think next week I am going get a jar of P21S wax off my shelf and compare it the the cycle glaze.
