Cleaned my engine bay!
1. Removed fuel rail covers
2. Covered K&N with a plastic bag
3. Hosed-down entire engine bay with the 'shower' setting on the garden hose
4. Removed plastic bag
5. Closed hood and idled engine for approx. 5 minutes
6. Switched-off engine and opened hood
7. Sprayed all exposed areas (except electrics) with Deb Jizer (degreaser)
8. Closed hood and left for about 10 minutes to soak-in
9. Opened hood and sprayed degreaser off with garden hose
10. Let dry
11. Sprayed all exposed areas (except electrics) with Back to Black (silicone polish)
Although the engine wasn't filthy to begin with, the improvement is definitely worth the effort. I was a little worried when I first hosed-off the degreaser because the black plastic parts dried a charcoal grey colour.... not the deep black they should be. However, after I sprayed everything with the Back to Black, it looked great!

Cheers,
Ian.
